I agree with you 100% on this one.

It does take all sorts to make up this world and what you see on this site is only a fraction of what is really out there.

I think some of the questions could be posted for one of two reasons...

1. To provoke a reaction - Some people just want to wind people up and this is an easy way of doing it.

2. To see, by the answers, how stupid and narrow minded people can actually be.

When I see questions like these and some of the answers I just thank God for the brains he has given me. I'm also grateful for the ability not to see things only as black or white and also to accept individuals for what they are.

You are obviously blessed in this way too.

Good question.

A lot of it has to do with the way these people were raised. What if you were raised your entire life being told that the color of the sky was green? Would you immediately believe the first person who told you it was blue? What if there were several different groups who all believed the sky was a different color? Not everyone would get along, and there would probably be some nasty things said about everyone for different reasons. Wars have been started over less. It's the same way with the different race, cultural, and sexually oriented groups in our world.

You might have to expand your thinking to realize that not everyone has grown up in an environment where tolerance is stressed and normal; many people have grown up in households and neighborhoods where discriminatory sentiments were common, and therefore these notions are instilled in them. It is very hard to become other than what you first knew--though this is possible, with effort. And yes, there is free speech in America. Which means that you might not always like what someone has to say, it might even offend you completely, but they reserve the right to say it.

A: they are all allowed because it's a free site open to any and all whoever they may be.

B: Some people are raised in that enviorment or have not been taught better. Other than people truly born with mental handicaps the rest are a product of their enviorment!!

Since they can't ask their stupid questions in real life, they come here to ask them because it's anonymous. It's scary to see that this is the way a lot of people really think, except they have to put up a politically correct front in the real world. Here they don't have to.

Why SHOULDN'T people be allowed to make racist remarks???? Just last night I found a remark that deeply offended me, and I mean DEEPLY, but f*uck it man, what the hell, people have the right to say what they please, why make such a big fuss about it???? The only thing that gets accomplished is turning it into "an issue", thus, brought forth into the realm of "important things", when it really is just a loud minority that refuses to get along with everybody else for reasons as trivial as skin color, gender, sexual orientation, etc.

Let them be!!!

Because those are challenges they must overcome. Don't let them get u over heated. They are allowed cuz that's the choice God gave us all. Narrow minded makes them dim. It only reflects on themselves. It is their own eyes that dim the light of truth. And the truth is love...:o]

Freedom of speech gives them the right. It also gives us the right not to read them or even patronize this site ever again. That's what living in the US buys us. The freedom to listen to idiots.

As outrageous as they are, everyone is entitled to freedom of speech. Some people fear and reject ideas that are unfamiliar and uncomfortable to them. They respond by spreading hate and it's contagious. Try not to let it upset you, instead you can spread love, acceptance and understanding to counteract the ignorance and hatred. If that doesn't work..blow 'em up!

Because the questions/answers are posted anonymously. If they weren't, I guarantee 90% of them wouldn't be posted in the first place.
