Well, cancer is a little extreme!

What you are describing could be as a result of many things. VDU exposure, for instance sitting in-front of a computer screen for prolonged periods of time can cause bad headaches that seem to stem from behind the eyes.

It could also be sinitus. This produces pounding headaches around the front of the head and is usually accompanied by cold like symptoms (or an actual cold)

You could also just be suffering from migranes (your symptoms sound exactly like migrane symptoms) , a condition which, unfortunatly, the medical community doesn't fully understand yet. Or it could be stress! Stress can give you killer headaches, and make you feel like getting sick. Especially if you're worried about Brain Cancer :)

All of the above ailements are nothing to be worried about. Still, if it's been going on for a while (maybe 4-5 days), go to the doctors for an examination (free clinics are just fine, if you don't mind the queueing), just to be sure. No use freaking out about it when you could have a professional just tell you what it is.

I agree that you may have migraines. You can't rule out other things, but I wouldn't immediately assume cancer. As a migraine sufferer, some treatments that help are Excedrin (as mentioned), taking a shower, drinking coffee, taking a nap in a dark room. If you are sensitive to light or sounds with the headache or there is an aura (some sort of visual disturbance--mine look like herringbone zigzags before I get one. This isn't present in all types of migraines though), you are probably having migraines.

I've also found getting out of the house (change in air pressure I think) will help if I've tried everything else. It only works if it's dark or I wear dark glasses though. Light really kills my headache. Sometimes allowing yourself to throw up will help get rid of them as well.

Get your mom or dad to take you to the doctor sweetie. I doubt it is nothing more than a migraine type headache but a doctor does need to see you if you have had this two days.

Just as a matter of interest you havent got a tooth that is giving your problems at the moment have you? They can give you bad headaches too.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

The symptoms of brain tumors depend mainly on their size and their location in the brain. Symptoms are caused by damage to vital tissue and by pressure on the brain as the tumor grows within the limited space in the skull. They also may be caused by swelling and a buildup of fluid around the tumor, a condition called edema. Symptoms also may be due to hydrocephalus, which occurs when the tumor blocks the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and causes it to build up in the ventricles.

The most frequent symptoms of brain tumors include:

-Headaches that tend to be worse in the morning and ease during the day,
-Seizures (convulsions),
-Nausea or vomiting,
-Weakness or loss of feeling in the arms or legs,
-Stumbling or lack of coordination in walking (ataxic gait),
-Abnormal eye movements or changes in vision,
-Drowsiness,
-Changes in personality or memory, and
-Changes in speech.

You can still get taken care of at the ER, all hospitals SHOULD have some sort of "charity care" policies based on income, etc.

good luck and dont freak out. I would go to the ER tho, the puking part would scare me, too!

Sounds just like a migraine.

Go to the store and buy some Excedrin Migraine. That should help you.

It's probably just a migraine. But if you're really worried about it see your doctor.
