He loves these two names, but I can't imagine my girls having these names. Our other children are Katherine Rose, Sarah Grace and Isaac Andrew. I want to name the twins Hannah Jane and Hailey Marie. I also like the names Jenna, Kayleigh, Leigh, Ariana, and Chelsey. My husband really wants the names Summer Rayne and Autumn Breeze, please help me convince him that those names aren't good for our babies!

Those poor girls would get laughed at, and when they're older they would have to laugh it off by explaining "My dad was a hippie..." or some other excuse.

I think Hannah Jane and Hailey Marie sound better for your twins. Summer Rayne and Autumn Breeze a little to cheesy to be put together as a twin names. I like the two names Summer and Rayne but together I don't like them.

I think I'm going to side with your husband. I almost had the name Misty Morning, but ended up with Brandy Sunshine instead. I don't like Jenna, because every time I hear that name, I think of Jenna Jameson - don't think that's the kind of association you want for your daughter. Kayleigh was way overused late 90s. Leigh's not too bad. Just don't like Ariana. Chelsey just doesn't seem 'soft' enough for a girl.

They are cute but not for 2 kids in the same family. I like Summer and I like Rayne but dislike Autumn. I love Sarah (thats my daughers name!)

I think your choice for the twins is better. Keep in mind that nobody goes through life using a middle name so those are irrelevent.

Here are some names I like for girls: Hannah, Olivia, Jordan, Alexa, Nicole and Lynn to name a few.

Ha, the funny part is, is that I wanted to name my child (if he turned out to be a girl) Summer Rayne. My boyfriend said no. :o( and the name is definitely something you both should like.

Autumn Breeze I am not too fond of...never liked the first name, but its cute how it fits together...but you really shouldnt name your twins something so close (you know...seasons and weather).

ha, your husbands a hoot...

THIS IS SOMETHING YOU WILL HAVE TO CONVINCE HIM ABOUT. HE HAS THE RIGHT TO NAME THE CHILDREN JUST AS WELL AS YOU DO. TELL HIM THAT THE NAMES SUMMER AND AUTUMN ARE BEAUTIFUL. BUT THE RAYNE AND THE BREEZE MAKES IT SOUND LIKE SOME TYPE OF AIR FRESHENER. HOW ABOUT SUMMER ARIANA OR AUTUMN ARIANA. THEN YOU HAVE CHELSEY AUTUMN OR CHELSEY SUMMER.

Picking out names is a joint decision. And a personal one. You two need to discuss the pros & cons of all names & then come to a decision. Sometimes you might even have to give in a little. Just make sure that they'll have a first & middle name so that if they don't like one, they can go by the other.

i like the names, but just so you know, i have 2 nieces named Hailey Marie, and there are 23 other girls in their school named Hailey, and 12 of them are Hailey Marie. Its a real fad name, so if you are into that, go for it.

Not that they're "awful" names, but they sound like real hippie names. I would go for something more traditional- especially since you already have kids. say all the kids names together and Summer and Autumn kinda stick out.

Try to reason with him, and if that doesn't work... remember that you're the one signing the birth certificates!! LOL!!

HONESTLY! I think the names are really cute! I'm 20... have 1 daughter and named her Kelbi Renee. I really like the names! It may be a little cheesy... when you say them both together like that... with the first and middle name... but honestly... how often are they even going to say their first and middle name.. both... at the same time. I think the names are really cute!! I think you should go for it. When you introduce your children... you don't have to say the first and middle name... usually just the first. But... I really like the names... can't stop saying that!! GO FOR IT!!! THE NAMES ARE ADORABLE!!!!
