It's not that i am a tattle tale it's just that we're christains and we feel that is a sin, and i worry for my brother's well being.

Well, it depends on your point of view. From a parents point of view (which I am) then yes, tell your mom!

As a person who has been there (on both sides, not just porn but on all subjects0 I would say, don't tell your Mom. he is going to keep looking even if he gets in trouble, and all you would have done is caused bad feelings between you and your brother.

I would suggest you just tell him, he knows it's wrong and whats more, you are dissapointed in him. You thought better of him.

That way you aren't snitching on him, and you are letting his guilt do the work for you.

What age is he?

If he's in his late teens I'd just let him be. It's just porn, there are far worse things he could be doing with his time.

If he's very young then maybe you should say something, but at the risk of embarrassing him and possibly scarring him for life, I wouldn't bother. Just act as if you don't know anything about it, totaly drop the subject. There really isn't anything wrong with what he's doing.

if your brother is underage, definitly. If he's not, then bring it up to your brother that if he doesn't stop, because he knows Moms rules, then let him know that the next time you catch him at it, you will tell your Mom. And don't be ugly about it. That will only create resentment between you and your brother.

yes. Porn addictions are easy to have and hard to break the habit. It's wrong to your mom and she has a right to say "not in my house". Plus it does add a lot of crap on the computer...viruses and spyware, etc. Don't hide his disrespect for him.

Smack him across the head one good hard time and then you can tell your mother because at the end of it all you are probably helping your brother from becoming a lil ol pervert.

No. Don't be a tattletale. That's never a good idea, unless it's hurting someone, which it really isn't. Instead, find something else to do so you won't be around him and his "habit" and if mom finds out, so be it.

here's what you should do. download the k9 web protection. it is free and he will be unable to do image searches and will not be able to find porn. if you think he has a mental problem, then tell your parents otherwise just tell him you know what he is doing (so he'll be embarassed) and protect your computer
http://www.k9webprotection.com/
you can customize it to eliminate a number of topics and it really is free. i have had it for months and nobody, not even my neighbor who is a computer whiz, can get by it. and porn is icky!

I would definitely tell your mom about it. If he is looking it up on the computer, she can put a password on her log in and create a child log in for him to restrict his internet access.
