Oral thrush is a disorder caused by infection of the mouth with the fungus (yeast) . it is very common in children. Both of my children had it. Antifungals are typically prescribed for this by a pediatrician. It would seem like the breathing issue is unrelated to the thrush specifically and you should probably go ahead and see a pediatrian. I don';t see any breathing problems associated solely with thrush in any of the medical information or websites that I consulted.
A nice website on breathing problems in young babies can be found here; http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/health/info/newborn/diagnose/breathing.htm

Call the doctor immediately. It probably isn't anything serious but breathing is not something you want to play around with.
My son had thrush for 4 months and they kept giving him nystatin. Finally, we saw another doctor and she presribed liquid diflucan. It was gone in 4 days!!!! Ask your doctor about it if the thrush persists. I know thrush is frustrating, but it will be over soon.

Thrush and breathing hasnothing to do with each other. If she has breathing problems while eating take her to the doc before her next bottle.let the doc see how she breathes while she eats.Thrush will cause a infant to struggle to drink from the bottle or nurse because their mouth is sore but never will it cause breathing problems.

You need to take the little three week baby to the ER=Emergency Room at your local Hospital. She is so little and new. She could die, from the symptoms you describe. There is nothing worse then to stand besides a white casket, containing your little girl. It would be a grief you would take to your grave. Go now, Please !!

Unless the thrush was not completely cleared up by the medications the doctor gave you (you did take her, right?), that would not affect her breathing. If you are concerned, take her back to the doctor. That's what they are there for.

She may have a health condition. You might want to see if there's anyone(s) in your family with asthma and/or allergies, cystic fibrosis.
I would get to the doctor or the ER even if her breathing problem isn't acting up, you might want to have your tested for these condition. Just get to a clinic or the ER....ASAP
