I think Cesar Milan's method works fine, but I have found that the "slap that biting dog in the head hard enough to spin him around" method works much faster.

First of all, it isn't necessary to SLAP the dog or hit it with anything: that's abuse for one. Second, is it a teething puppy? Depends on why your dog is biting you!!!!! If it's a puppy, then go to the pet store, buy bitter apple spray, spray your skin with it and a few times of that he will get the message!!!! If it IS teething, you need to provide your pup with an alternative chewing device created for puppies like a chilly-bone. He just doesn't know yet.
On the other hand if its an adult dog, then you need to seek out a veterinarian or behaviorist (like me...that's what I do for a living: dog psychology and training) to assist you with your dilema. Without knowing more about the dog and the situation itself, there's not much help anyone here can give you. Biting is a problem, period, and needs to be addressed but ONLY properly according to the specific situation. Good Luck.

you need to punish and reward. when he biites you firmly say "no" adn tap him on the nose(dont beat him, just firmly enough where it hurts his feelings) when you do somethign that normally triggers him to bite you and he doesnt then reward him just by saying good dog adn petting him adn showing him your happiness. dogs can sense emotion so if you praise him with happy emotions when he doesnt bite adn express anger adn pain when he does he will learn not to.

also get him a chew toy or rope toy to play with, this will cut down on his biting time on you, instead he will be biting the toy
