My bf and i were involved in a car accident He came to pick me up from school and he was acting funny his eyes were blood shot so i thought he was just a little bit tired. Coming out of the parking lot he saw my ex. bf 's car and his new gf driving it i guess he was trying to teach her how to drive.Anyway he decided to drive right at them to scare her as a joke.Unfortunatley this was a major intersection of of a major route 35 .he skided and he hit them head on the drivers side and my bf's car was hit from behind causing me to go through the windshield because my seat belt was not on i needed 14 stitches and a dislocated shoulder and a cracked rib. I dont remeber what happened really after he hit the other car but two other cars were involved. He wants me to lie saying she was trying to cut us off he sent me an e-mail on what to say?he thinks he will go to prision if i dont say what he wants?

First of all I would leave your bf. He obviously doesn't care about you or himself for that matter. Don't lie for him either! He could have killed someone!! You don't need someone like that in your life!

this is not worth lying about and really a big deal. A lot of people were invovled and he needs to take responsibility for his actions. I dont know if it is something he would go to prison for, especially if he is under age, but either way he needs to face up. Consequences are high and can even effect what goes to those other people involved as far as insurance money and all that stuff goes too.
Plus this come down to your own humaneness, integrity etc. and dealing with the guilt of lying could cause you deep regrets later.

his first mistake was doing whatever he was doing that made his eyes bloodshot....and then to "drive right at them to scare her as a joke", that was #2, and then hey, doing it at a major intersection? Dumb move # 3....You were # 4 in not having your seatbelt on, shame on you, you could be dead right now....and let's see...Oh, he SENT YOU AN EMAIL telling you to lie. Well that's documentation of guilt and yes, emails can be supboenaed and hey, so can your question on Yahoo answers...
So I think you need to dump the chump, he's a liar, a cheat and almost got you killed by his moronic actions.
Everytime you breath and that rib aches, and years later when you're older and arthritis sets in, you'll have a reminder of what an idiot he was.

Your boyfriend could have killed someone- even you. Bad person or not, he's not much of a man or decent human being if he can't accept responsibility for his actions ANDS wants a girl to lie for him. What a loser. If you lie for him, you'll be a liar- are you a liar? Not only that, if he wants you to lie now, what makes you think he won't turn the tables and screw you over some day?
If you lie for him you both suck. Sorry. A REAL MAN or "good person" would never expect you to lie!!

You are doing nobody any favors if you lie. If he was indeed in the wrong, then your cover will only teach him that his actions are not only acceptable, but he will be inclined to do it again and hurt more people.
Asking you to lie shows that he has no respect for you or the fact that his actions caused you to have 14 stitches. He cares for only himself.
Tell the truth to the authorities and tell him goodbye.

Don't lie! YOU could end up going to prison for lying to the police. This guy already sent you to the hospital. Do you really want him to send you to jail too? Personally, I say dump him. Anyone who drives drunk isn't good enough for you.

Sure lie for him, if you are even thinking about it then you have no morals so why start having them now. Also you should steal some money from your dads wallet and buy your bf something nice to make him feel better.

NO. Do not lie for him. He is so immature that he actually thought it'd be cool to "scare" them. That in itself is weak and stupid. Don't perjure yourself and get into trouble for a loser like him. Let him know you are going to answer whatever questions truthfully and if he gets pissed, let him and then move on and never look back.

well you need to tell the truth that's the right thing to do .. and you weren't the one driving so you aren't going to jail .. but that might not even happen but you need to tell the truth .. I would lie for my BF on little things .. but this is someones life you are dealing with people were hurt .. TELL THE TRUTH

no i dont think you should lie for him. he brougt that situation onto himself and he should get out. he's basically taking you down with him, and that's not right. so what if you guys break up? then it was all for nothing and your life can be messed up because of him.. better to make the right decision now than to do something you will regret later on
