i "had" a kawasaki av 1000 home theater system until the other day, the damn "motherboard" shorted out. if i can get a replacement i would know how to install it. but where in indianapolis can i get one without going online. and how much would it cost? or would a new "amplifier" be cheaper.

the system was a dolby digital 5.1 surrond system with a 4 ohm 30 watt subwoofer and five 8 ohm 15 watt regular quadraphonic and center channel speaker system. without a system like this i will not be able to watch tv, listen to my records cd's tapes and 8 tracks, listen to the radio, or play my videogames.

what would be my best choice

Judging by what I've seen as to the price of the unit, you are better off getting a new one. Chances are you would end up spending more to get it fixed than you buying a new unit. I'd get something better though. There's little information available on this system which says to me that it's crap.

Best of luck
