Here is a great easy to do recipe with your children. My daughter loves to help me in the kitchen baking. So have some fun with it!!

Snicker Bars
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (I use hershey's)
1 - 14 oz pkg. caramels (48) not caramel topping
2 T. butter
2 T. shortening
1 T. water
1 cup dry roasted peanuts(salted or unsalted)

Melt chips and shortening in med deep Rock n Serve. Pour half the mixture
in lined snack store container spread with Saucy Silicone Spatula. Melt
caramels with butter and water in second med deep Rock n Serve. Add nuts
and pour over chocolate layer in container. Top with remaining chocolate
mixture cover and refrigerate.

Use any basic cooky recipe --get bite size snicker bars and then take cooky dough and wrap around the little candy bar and bake. these are yummy.. Can be dipped in sugar before baking.
