I have liked him for a while and I can't get him out of my head, but we've hada bad past together, that's why he doesn't talk to me. I want to become friends with him agen but I'm not sure how to go about it without annoying him or being "clingy".

Im a bit like that i really like a guy and he told me few weeks ago he had taken a shine to me but in the last two weeks he wont text me and wont tell his sister, who is my best friend, anything.i have seen in as in just kissing and falling asleep together but no sex but im going to give it time cause he needs time to think things out.
my advise give him time he may like you but needs time to think

How bad was the past you had with him? If it was really bad, then ignore him and his looks. If it wasn't too serious and you think you could be friends again, he should make the first move unless it was you who did something to him.

just take a chance. try and get alone with him and start talking guys always act differently to girls around there friends. and then ask him does he want to meet up sometime and because hes alone he will answer truthfully.
