I see too many questions about how to get over the ex and it occurs to me that I am not over any of my ex's. If I saw them again, I'd still feel some sort of extra connection. So does anyone really ever get over their ex? Or is it just more a matter of dealing with not being with them? It's not like I can forget why I liked them. It just doesn't work out sometimes.

I think a little piece of your heart is always left for the people that cross your path, and this goes for exes as well. I have a couple that if I saw them wouldn't affect me at all, but then I have the one that I would drop everything and run right back to. I think it's more about getting on with your daily life and figuring out how to go on without them rather than forgetting them all together. I don't think they ever really go completely away.

everyone is different so what works for one person might not work for the next. you have to get over things at your own pace.
