For many it is highly relevant, especially to the Christians in China. It is said that there are more Christians in China than Communist Party members.
Of course, that also makes them one of the most persecuted in Christendom as well.

I believe China tried to wipe out the religion from their society. Still some pockets remain, who follow Confucianism and Buddhism.

I was thinking of adopting a four year old girl from China. Give her VALUE/WORTH/DIGNITY and HONOR she would never receive this in her home country. Much like all the worlds religions treat women. It would change her sense of self and her future would never be the same.

Little, china is predominantly atheist and has been for very very long time. Interesting to note, that they had to instill guidelines for morality(Buddhism)
