My husband and I did this diet before our wedding, and it really worked. Especially for the first four weeks, you absolutely need to abide by the rules in the book (no fruits, sugar, etc). If you follow those rules and guidelines (as well as working out), the weight really does just fall off of you.

Plus, once you do a diet like this, it is really about a lifestyle change. You become more aware of what you are eating, and sometimes you find you can really live without some things, but it takes weaning yourself off them to realize it. Half of the things my husband and I craved during the diet, we realized weren't half as good as we had remembered them to be, or actually didn't make us feel good after eating them because they really aren't good things for your body anyway...

Different diets have different outcomes for different people. There is no one size fits all diet and the only diet that truly works is the one that you can imagine yourself on the REST OF YOUR LIFE!

I highly recommend that you incorporate exercise into your routine 5-6 days a week an hour each day of cardio. Once you've met your weight 3-4 days a week 30 minutes each day to maintain.

Keep in mind it usually takes 6-8 weeks before results begin to show on any type of diet or exercise program-and constant change is needed as the body attempts to adjust.

Yes, if you follow it e-x-a-c-t-l-y. You cannot cheat even one time in the first two weeks or you start over. And to get it to work, most people who have been successful have used the first two week program for 4 weeks. You also have to exercise for 40 minutes to an hour 4 times a week, Recreational activities do not count as exercise here. My sister got a great dane and he drug her on a 2 mile run twice a day. She went from rolly polly to smokin hot in 4 months.
