I've heard too many times that "age does'nt matter", from my daughter, she's seeing a twenty-something and she is 16. Is he weird for being with a child? I know she's not mature enough to avoid being swept from practical reasoning by emotions. Is this a criminal act even though she's consensual?

well technically it is illegal if you are uncomfortable with it. She is underage and you are her parent/guardian. I am of the opinion that age isn't a factor only after both parties have hit their 20's. I Think a 20 something guy dating a 16 year old is a bit strange because there is a huge difference in maturity between the two. whereas a person in their 20's dating someone in their 30's isn't that strange. I think it all comes down to are you comfortable with it, and what maturity level are the people in question.
