should they just bleep the whole thing out. I have always been curious about that. Is there a specific reason, and if anybody knows what it is will you tell me?

because it's wrong to say the lords name in vain and they don't want to offend anyone. I agree with you though, if they're gong to bleep it out they should bleep out the whole thing or "God bleepIT"

We do have one moral left in this country and that is that swear word or words. Don't worry to much about it though the ACLU will soon file a case and have "God" re-inserted on all the re-runs.

Note to Nikki, people are really stupid.

It is considered the, " taking of God's name in vain." It is considered blasphemy. That is a little different than saying *** hole for instance, there is nothing sacrilegious about that! I even know a few!

Back in the 1960s the networks came up with a list of "7 words you can't say on television." (George Carlin does a skit with that title)

It's just...something they came up with!

Because only a religious person would damn anything. Who are you to damn anything if you aren't God? Political correctness, no one wants to appear religious. Anyone can quote scripture and use the name of God.
