You can use any variety of tea - I use one of two things (depending on my mood)

1. Regular Lipton tea (not too strong - only leave the bag in for about 5 seconds - otherwise your mouth gets too starchy) - anyway, the Lipton tea SUPER hot with fresh lemon juice and honey for sweetener.

2. Mint tea with honey and lemon. The mint can trigger a decongestant for your nose.

And go easy on the echinacea teas - face and body rashes are some UNFUN side effects of the tea.

Heat, internally and externally may help kill the virus or bacteria causing your problem. If you have herbal tea, some of the herbs may help reduce the nose stuffiness.

I don't know which herbs are best, however the health food store we go to has many different combinations for different health purposes.

i would call a health food store. they may also suggest using a vaporizer or an inhaler too!
