I have made some humous and want to freeze half of it. Is it safe to freeze?

Well, I think it's safe enough, but I'm wondering about the quality of it when it thaws. It could be kind of mushy since it's made with beans. Why not freeze just a small portion of it, and see what it's like after it thaws. That way, if you don't like it, you haven't wasted the entire amount. Humus does keep very well just in the fridge. I've kept some of the store-bought kind in the fridge for as long as three weeks, and it was fine.

you can freeze it , yes, the food that is in it, are perfectly safe to freeze or eat when thawed. altho it does keep well in a air tight lunch box in the fridge too

I have and it tasted fine. It has ingredients in that arent really dangerous to reeat after freezing so yep

Practically,u can freeze everything,but humus will turn dark and dry when freezed.harmless to consume,but just dun look nice.

Well you CAN freeze it but I think it might not taste so good when you defrost it. Hey wait...you have hummus left over??? How did you manage that?

yes you can freeze it, I do it all the time, and then we use it for partys and stuff

yep in an air tight container and eat within one month.

While I beleive it is, I dont think it is the same when defrosted. You can try though, you may think different.
