Well I start things then put them down or see something else I might like to do ,I've got quite a few projects, but the only ones I finish are if I'm doing them for someone.

Some people are add and cannot finish their projects, others are depressed and find it impossible to finish a project. Depends on the person and the situation.

Many reasons- laziness, frustration, discouraged, lack of enthusiasm. And of course a lot of people grew up in a household where they saw there role models/parents quit at alot of projects or jobs and they them self think that, that is the normal response to something they cant either fix/resolve or finish.

Some people are completer finishers by nature and hence want to make sure things are tidy and complete before moving on to the next task.

Others people have different strengths eg. being creative and coming up with the ideas - they are less interested in completing things.

Ultimately there are lots of reasons to quit.
Boredom, loss of interest, being distracted, ssomething better to do.

I think its that male machissmo kicking in with both genders, 'I can do it attitude', which is a good thing. Only to find out later that they're completely clueless. Sometimes, we end up cleaning the mess, especially at home whilst the guys sort out the car issues.

Because they are in over their heads in some way or another. Multitasking with other priorities that can come up also breeds disaster and procrastination. I am a procrastinator and I am quite masterful at it. There's a phrase my father used to say; Jack of all trades and master of none.

Well, I think I can explain, I have a theory that I think is pretty good. It all depends on whether the project is work or fun, did the person in question initiate it or follow it, and, aaahhh **** it, the Simpsons are on....

That decsribes me to a T. It surprises me that i can even finish a sentence. or my dinner. I am not sure why, but i have a really bad role model for a father. and 2 . I am very spoiled and dead lazy.

when I start a project like errm completion of a crate of Stella I always ensure it's well planned and well executed.
