I have two kittens(older than 12 weeks) and I have bathed them with flea shampoo, put flea medicine on their necks, these fleas just won't go away.

Looks like you're going to have to fleabomb the house. Talk to your vet about it, he'll know what to use. Wash the cats (they'll hate it) before taking them somewhere. Your entire family, after you fleabomb the house, should be gone for FOUR HOURS or more (depending on what it says on the medicine bottle.) This means all pets and EVERYTHING.
After that, make sure they don't get outside. That's probably part of the problem - I'm not saying it is, but you'll want to check that.

don't use generic flea medications. They use pesticides and can make your kittens sick. If you get flea medication from the vet it should work much better.

Also, my friend found a kitten with a LOT of fleas. I was told that any kind of soap works well to kill the fleas. In fact, we ended up using dish detergent and it did work extremely well. The fleas basically just started falling off. The vet also said this was safe to use and I did bathe her twice right away as well. Also, I am sure you have found out most cat's don't like water...however, it is good to let them "soak" in the soap for a few minutes in order to kill some of the fleas (since it doesn't kill on contact). Then rinse and repeat. This was followed with some veterinary prescribed flea medication and the problem was completely solved.

However, if they keep getting the fleas there is a chance that you now have fleas in your house. (In your carpet and such) There are products sold that will kill any fleas present in your carpet or other areas in your house. This could be why they just keep getting fleas over and over after you get rid of them the first time!

Hope this helps!!!

get your self a flea comb and the fleas will comb right out. have a bowl of dish soap and water to dunk the comb full of fleas so the bubbles will keep the fleas from jumping out. try to keep your kittens indoors to avoid more fleas. you may always have to comb the flea away. i feel fleas are something that will be an on going thing from time to time.the younger the kitten the less flea medicine it should have for the medicine is strong and may harm a kitten wait until it gets a bit older for the medicine if possible

skin so soft is good but oily, go to the vet and ask for some capstar ( pill that temp rids of fleas) then get some frontline keep animal dry for 24hrs before and after. Dont put on hair skin only. If animals are in house you need to treat under furniture. Fleas use you and your pets as a feeding ground and dark places to breed. Treat 10 days later because every two weeks fleas hatch 500 eggs and so on every two weeks

You need to get a flea comb and get them off one by one. Just like head lice. It's the only sure way. Repeat daily for a few weeks until they're gone. And make sure you powder the carpet and furniture and vacuum alot in the interrim. Fleas only spend part of their life cycle on the animal and the other part in the rug.

Avon Skin So Soft works wonders. First, coat them with the Skin So Soft, leave it on for a few hours, then wash them.
Putting vinegar in their bath water also works, as well as using lemon dish soap.
