1) Going forward, use the razor only one time!
2) WALMART sells their version (EQUATE) of EUCERINE LOTION. It's a really thick cream that is white and nearly odorless (like Ivory Soap). Slather this on and shave away!
3) When shaving, don't be too heavy handed. Let the razor do the work. Apply gente pressure to the razor and if the blade isn't dull, it should trim the hair away without irritation.
4) Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Don't shave daily. The Venus razor works great. Try using some thick and creamy hair conditioner instead of shaving creme. Exfoliate after you shave. Neutrogena makes body wash for acne, which helps me with any razor burn. Have you tried Bikini Zone? That helps a lot!
Good luck!

If you go for waxing, be careful.
When I got my legs waxed, I had polka dot legs for weeks. When the hairs grew back, they were ALL ingrown. I've never seen anyone else with this problem, even other people who went to the same shop, but only get a small spot waxed first, just in case. I thinks it's just skin type.
...or you could try something like Nair. It never worked for me at all, but it's still sold, so it must work on some people.
