when you lose weight it does not leave just one area

I wish there was an answer but all the people who said situps are wrong. Actually you could build more muscle under the fat and yoru stomach may look like it sticks out more. When we lose weight we cannot chose where it comes from. Some females lose all their boobs before anything comes from anywhere else and sometimes we lose it in ar arms and legs then stomach. The fact is that if you lose some weight you cannot pick where the weight comes from so the only way to lose your stomach is to eat less and exercise more. However your arms and legs yes may get skinnier and the only way to stop that would be to make them more muscular with lifting. So sorry you can not pick where fat comes off at (I wish we could) but no one exercise will take fat from just one place. It is based on your genetics how you lose and where weight is gained first and that cannot be changed.

When you loose weight, it will come off all over your body, but there are things that you can do to target a certian zone of your body, so that the weight falls off faster and you become toned.

If you want to loose belly fat, you need to be doing strength training on your abdomen. I recommend the ab workouts by Denise Austin. She has several DVDs with ab workouts. The segments are usually about 10-15 mins long and you start out easy and then move up in difficulty every 2 weeks. I really love her many programs, she is very positive and you can do all of her exercises in your own home with out having to buy extra and expensive equipment.

Good luck

Sit ups will help tone...but they will not get rid of much fat...there really is no way to just lose fat off of one part of your bady and not the others

Your body burns fat evenly from all over. The only way is liposuction.
