The two issues aren't really related-evolution allows for the existence of a God, but not the one in Genesis.

I really believe yes to both. I think that there is some level where Creation and Evolution actually prove one another. I think the two theories mesh on a level that has yet to be discovered. I am a firm Christian and a believer of the Bible, but I have no problem with Dinosaurs and other things that are sticking points between the two schools of thought. On a day to day basis, those two theories do not effect my life whatsoever. The only time I discuss them is in R&S.

Now that you ask, why can't God exist and evolution still be possible? Perhaps it was God's plan that we evolve.

No, I don't think so. And what about evolution? Dammit Jim, I'm a YA regular, not a mind reader!

They cannot accept evolution because it invalidates Jesus' sacrifice. If man was not created perfect but evolved, he is not in need of salvation because he was never perfect. Any Christian who accepts man evolved has some explaining to do to me.
