It's the other way around. I'm a Christian, and we(my fellow Christians) feel bad for "Atheists" because they don't know God.

Why would you feel sorry for people who have a life?
That's what we Christians have; a life, a purpose and a guarantee of being loved, cherished and treasured no matter how much mankind lets us down.
And why are you on a Religion board if you are not religious?
Makes no sense and is rather offensive.
If you hope to change anyone's minds, offending us is not the way to do it.

No I do not. I feel that they are happy in what they believe in. Their religion completes them and brings meaning to their life. however, I do feel sorry for religious people who slander people due to the difference in religion for just being neutral or different. Without neutral views we would not have developed in the scientific and industrial revolution. The churches back than handicapped peoples minds with religion to keep them on check so they wont rise in power and overthrow them.Religion does promote dogmatic views which makes neutral views impossible for believers.

I feel pity for the brainwashing that has made them delusional, I grew up with this brainwashing and can honestly say as I now see the light.
Sincerely your high atheist
EDIT: Kyss K, that wouldn't be weed, bro, that would be a hallucinogen like shrooms or acid
YET ANOTHER EDIT:Pcolasunshine hit the spot, I grew up in that atmospere. I felt guilty for a long time for even questioning, not because of the "holy spirit" but because it was beat into my brain that I should feel that way, Pcolasunshine should get best answer

Not at all. In fact, I envy them. Wouldn't you also rather live in a fantasy world where there's a caring omnipotent being that protects you, guides you, loves you no matter what and will ensure that you and everyone you love will not die but instead spend all eternity in bliss, while everyone you hate will burn forever in a raging fire?
Too bad some of us just can't escape the cold reality of a cruel, meaningless world...

I feel sorry for children indoctrinated into fundamentist Christianity. They DO NOT have a "choice" or "free will", they are raised to believe that their way is the only way, that all other religions are wrong, that they'll go to hell for not believing, etc., etc. It is no wonder that so many are not able to let go of such a belief despite logic and reason. There is always the fear of hell lingering over them if they even dare question.

No. Should Christians feel bad for us? I don't think so. They might, but they shouldn't. Being an atheist is a choice you make and it should be respected. You and I may not understand their divine loyalty, but not everything can be explained by a book.
