Buy a box of frozen healthy veggie patties from your health food store or market.

Drop one tablespoon of olive oil in a small pan and saute one side of a pattie. Then turn in over and saute the other side. (add another tablespoon of oil if necessary). Add small amount of diced onion and or sliced mushrooms around the pan. Keep turning over. Do not use much oil.

Then slice a ripe tomato thinly.

Serve the cooked veggie pattie on a bed of green vegetables with the sliced tomato. Spinach is good, or lettuce, or sprouts, or grated veggies. Best is steamed veggies. Add a little salsa, if you like, for flavor.

One of your best low cal recipes is simply steaming your favorite vegetables, then serving them with toasted sesame seeds. Avoid using butter. Drizzle with a tablespoon of olive oil, if you like.
