Groucho Marx: "Say the secret word and divide a hundred dollars between you. It's a common word you use every day."

On the old TV show "You Bet Your Life," one of the high points was Groucho schmoozing with the contestants, throwing out great one-liner jokes, and suddenly the silly little puppet-like bird would come down with a card in his beak that showed the secret word one of the contestants had just used.

Other than the more obvious ones already mentioned, which I do use on a daily basis, a phrase that I use every day, usually to myself, several times a day, beginning very early in the mornig (I sometimes even use it when I can't get the screw-top back on my coffe pot correctly) is:

"Goddamn these/this m*otherf*ucker/s."

or

"Goddamn these bastards always out to make [this or that activity/situation] harder on me."

This last one always pops up at work.
