My yahoo personal's profile say "There will times that our time together will include my children". Why would a woman freak out when I asked her if she wanted to join me when I take my kids to a place to see the fall colors?

I think that I know that it is hard for single parents to find someone that is willing and accepting of someone that has children. If you are upfront with the fact that you have children and the amount of children you have then there should be no problem. If that women didn't want to go with you and your children then she is not worth your time and your children's time. I know that it is hard because I take a look at what my aunt does and she lies about how many kids she has and finds guys that are not the best guys. So if you are just honest then I don't see the problem. Good Luck finding someone.

Did you see the Sienfeld episode where George talks about 'relationship George' and 'friend George' and that the two can't come in contact with each other? That's what is happening here. She is still getting to know the single you and is not ready to meet the family you yet. Meeting the kids is a big deal because if it doesn't work out, now she is not only hurting you but also your kids. Be patient and make sure she is the right person. Not only for your sake but for the kids too.

Some think it wise to not bring around dates until they know it is
serious. That keeps the kids from getting attached. So many times the relationship does not work out. Its hard for the kids to
understand the situation.

I would not want to be with someone who could not include my children from time to time. Sure you need private time, but your kids are your kids!

As long as they know before hand that you have children, then she should accept the whole package. And if she can't, then she wasn't worth it. Count yourself lucky that you found out now instead of later.
