From a Christian point of you, I was wondering how those of you that have had an addiction dealing with lust or sexual practices, how you over came them? What made you aware that you needed a change, needed to stop what you were doing? And how has it made your life better to be free from this/these addictions? No rude or vulgar responses please, as I will report each one. Thank you.

I began studying with Jehovah's Witnesses, got rid of all pornography, even went to some classes for sexual addiction, but decided that the Bible and God's help was really all I needed to overcome it. It worked.

Well everyone has lust in them because we are all sinners. I don't know what your situation is but i think you need to pray to God and have faith that he will change it and get rid of your lust. Maybe you need to try to preoccupy yourself or maybe join a club at Church or something you should also try to stay away from what you're lusting and don't put yourself and a place that is going to tempt you.But most importantly pray and have faith God is going to change things for you.

why does the launch of chemical compounds (a organic and meant-to-take place reaction) ought to be a undesirable element? we are raised in a society that over-sexualizes yet then shames us for appearing upon our organic tendencies. please do not take offense to this, yet faith additionally has a fashion of demonizing something regarding intercourse. do not worry with reference to the assessment to heroin. extremely some issues have comparable effects to truly some different issues. working releases endorphins, in simple terms like intercourse and eating good nutrition do. using quickly on a horse releases adrenaline, in simple terms like bungee leaping and robbing a financial company and strangling your self do. the way for you to assist your self in this regard is to allow bypass of the negativity you connect on your sexuality. you additionally can see a intercourse therapist/counselor in case you like. in spite of if... if it is meddling on your daily existence, or your interpersonal relationships, you have gotten a valid habit. in case you consistently finally end up blowing off acquaintances so which you will stay domicile and masturbate, or slacking on your homework, or showing up overdue to artwork, or blowing all your cash on porn, you have gotten an habit.

well, try masturbating it lifts a hugh weight off of your shoulders.

It is a chemical addiction in your brain causing you to want more and more, sex is a drug, a powerful one, and to over come it you will have to endure your addiction and stop acting on impulses, much like quiting cigerettes.

Good luck
