you think the reason why sick person (like aids, cancer,no arm, amputee) that they got it when they were born was given by god because they were a sinner in their past life?i don't mean to offend anybody!!tnx

Everything happens for a reason even if it doesn't seem fair and those diseases that you are speaking of aids and cancer are man made diseases. Aids came from a white man having intercourse with a monkey in Africa and Cancer is a somewhat new disease which doctors believe is coming from all the radioactive waves floating around because back then cancer was never heard of. As for the arm amputee there are many reasons why a person may have to have their arm amputated. So to say these are "given" by God is unfair and in the end it won't matter if you had cancer or aids or an arm amputated what matters is how you lived your life and if you excepted the Lord into your heart.

Buddhists and some other religions may believe in this concept of karma carried over from a past life. I suppose it's a possibility. I tend to be more of a Buddhist if I had to pick a religion. There's a possibility that a person's spirit chooses that lesson in life. There's also a possibility that it's a random act of crap. I don't know what I think. I'm still working on that one - it's a lifelong question to ponder, really.

No..... but all the evil that plagues mankind was brought into the world through sin... it now inflicts it's harm on all... and even the inocent suffer... this world is the domain of the evil one and his minions... as long as evil dominates there will be continuing suffering of all kinds... God dose give his people what strength they need to endure what we must untill our mortal time is up...
