I just ended a relationship about 3 and a half months ago. In that relationship for a year and half. How long should I wait till get back into dating again? I am kinda ready but not really. Need some advice.

just dont look for a relationship when a guy comes to you and you really care about him than get into one, but make sure this is what you want and tell him that you want to take it slow. Theres not a time limit on how long you should wait, its up to you when a opportunity comes around if you want to take it or not.

Was there a really good reason why the relationship ended.

If I were you I would wait a while longer and just have a little fun being single and just see what's out there.
OK

And if you have somebody in mind that you want to hook up with and be with a while. Just keep him on the close friends relationship ok, so that when you're ready to get back into a relationship you'll have him.

Good luck sweets

If you dont feel fully ready dont go out and date yet, give it some more time. You will know when your ready to date again. Its different for many people. Some can find a new date as soon as they break up. You will know when your ready, right now it sounds like your not.

Why not pursue other things, other hobbies, travel, enjoy things you like, learn something new, focus on your work/studies for a while? Learn to ski or surf or speak French. Travel to Spain, go to New York City, redecorate your house. Build yourself back up and be a busy, more interesting person and you'll meet a higher quality of men. It's barely been 90 days since the split- take care of you for a while.

Ending a relationship is not like a sports injury. There is no reason to wait. Once you start dating again, you'll feel better about yourself and not care so much about your earlier relationship. Good luck.

don't date again. Take your time to meet people have friends. If you want to start dating because you feel lonely- hang out with friends. If you want to do it because you're not haveing sex and feel that urge people get- find a "fu ck buddy" .. Don't just date jsut because. Being in a relationship is a serious thing. take your time. When you least expect it you will meet someone new.

You know you should wait until you are completely confident in dating again. You might just feel really lonley at this stage, and want someone, but after you have someone you might realize its not what you really wanted, and that you want more freedom.
