I can't figure out if lotion makes them worse. I use a loofah type scrubber in the shower, but it doesn't appear to make a difference. My 7 year old also has these.

It is very common. I'm surprised the loofah has not helped. For me, the combination of loofah with an exfoliant body wash on those bumps has worked for both my arms and legs. Typically, those bumps are caused by dry skin getting trapped in the pores. It is not necessarily acne, but can look like it.

Check out the link below, it will give you some additional options. Good luck!

I used to have them I told my dad if he can pop them for me. After he popped them they looked real red. Then after a day or two. I didn't have them anymore. I had them when i was 13 now I'm 18 and i haven't seen them since. The bumps where on the back of my arms. They are pop-able. If they are not go to the doctor they will give you medicated lotion that should help.

Is it acne? Maybe some acne face wash or the acne body wash and make sure he doesn't pick/itch them. My sister has them and she is always picking the back of her arm looks like someone attacked her with needles.

Buy a body scrub. They have salt, sand and sugar scrubs. You may just need to exfoliate.
