I'm a dance instructor with a private home studio. I love working with engaged couples who want to take wedding dance lessons for their big day. I want to focus on advertising specifically to this audience. Do you have some good ideas, ways and places to reach this populace other than the wedding shows? (No wisecracks needed.)Thank you for the help!

Advertise in wedding magazines. Most areas have a mag called "The Knot" or something which has local adverts... check your local jewelry store for a couple of differnt variations. Always advertise at the local bridal shows, in the bridal magazines, at jewelry stores (when possible), and at florist and dress shops.

I was going to say the wedding shows...but you could also try leaving brochures at a wedding dress shop or with other vendors that target the wedding market. Maybe a bunch of you could create a bag full of brochures cross-marketing eachother's businesses? You know...limosines...flowers...DJs...etc... How about advertising in those bridal magazines? How about local websites devoted to weddings?

Advertise through wedding planners, tuxedo shops, wedding dress shops. If you can afford it online through wedding planning sites like theknot.com. If you can afford it get mailing lists of future brides and send mailers to them. You can also advertise in local wedding magazines.
