It really is up to you and what you want them to do. I've seen them stand next to the maid of honor and best man and I have seen them sit down when they are done. You might talk to the kids and see what they are comfortable in doing. If they want to stand up there with you, they just add to more of the beauty of your wedding, but if not, let them sit down so you don't have to worry about them and can enjoy your ceremony.

Best Wishes!!

Hey, I am getting married Sat also. However, the flower girl (s) stand buy your maid of honor and the ring bearer stands on the grooms side by the groom and judge or preset. He presents the rings to the groom when asked. every one will leave the same way they came in except for you and your new husband you will leave first. The people that came in last leave first and so on. Good Luck, and hope this helps you out. P.S. you may want to have a rehearsal on Friday so every one will know what they are doing and not look confused when time comes for the wedding.

Congratulations!!

I would suggest that since you have a small wedding party have both the flower girl stand next to the maid of honor and the ring bearer stand next to the best man. I'm assuming they will walk in first, then you can have them walk out after the bride & groom and have the maid of honor and best man walk behind them, unless they are old enough that they might not need guidance then they can walk out last. If you don't think they can stand without fidgeting then have them sit down in the first pew.

Good luck!

She can stand with the maid of honor and the ring bearer can stand with the best man. If they are very young, they can also sit in a front seat or end of the pew with their mom and dad.

The flower girl goes to stand to the left of the Maid of Honour, and the ring bearer goes to stand to the right of the Best Man.

The flower girl stands with the rest of your female attendants while the MOH is with you.

The ring bearer give the ring to the best man and then stand with the rest of the male attendants; the best man is with your Husband-to-be.

In our case, we had 2 ring bearers that are twins and were 4 at the time. Do you really think that we were giving them our rings? They followed their sister (my flower girl) down the aisle and then one of the male attendants escorted the little cuties to sit with their parents several pews back. This was for everyone's safety, trust me.

At the end of the day, you have them do what you want and what you think is best for your ceremony. I am sure that there is ettiquette but who wants their to be problems. Just follow your heart and if the kids are young, it wouldn't be a bad idea to consult with their parents.

Congratualtions and good luck!

usually the flower girl stands near one of the bridesmaids and the ring bearer stands next to on of the groomsmen; however, there is nothing wrong with having them sit with an adult on the row behind the parents if there is a question as to whether they can stand still and quiet for the length of the service; children in a wedding are cute, but they should not be the center of attention; that is for the bride and groom;

Ussually she stands right in front of the maid of honor...that way she can kind of keep an eye on her and make sure shes not misbehaving or anything like that.

I do reccommend that you seat her mother or guardian very close to the front so that if something happens and the flower girl freaks out on stage, gets a shy moment, or anything crazy that kids are apt to do, depending on age, she can go down and sit with her very quickly and descretly, good luck! and Congrats!

You don't make them stand there they will get too restless. They sit in the front row. The ring bearer doesn't REALLY carry the rings, the best man does, so he can sit down with the flower girl
