lies to me, lies to the kids, is remarried, having an affair, involving children with new girlfriend, lies about that.

Come on! You know the truth...this is never gonna fly. You may have to go back to court and restrict or eliminate his contact with the children.
Talk with a family counsellor and a lawyer, it's not fair to the children to have this continued trauma in their lives and there is potential danger to them and you.

Just be the best parent you can be to your children. Don't bad mouth,but if they ask questions explain the best you can. I understand its frustrating, but children are smart, they will know the difference between right and wrong.

distance. lots and lots of distance. trust me i know where you're coming from.. more than you know. just try to get him out of your life, it's dangerous to you and your children. dont second guess yourself cos odds are hes a master at mindgames and will convince you youre imagining things.. dont fall for it!
definately go to court if you feel your mental or physical well being or anyone else's is in dangers. power to ya.
