Right on the same planet as the previous world, as world means people, not planet. Destruction of the world refers to people. In a Bible sense, it refers to those not in keeping with God's Word, whether they refer to themselves as Christian or not. After Armageddon, the Earth will be made anew, as it is turned back into a paradise.

The Bible says the world will be destroyed as it was in the days of Noah--if you remember, the earth was NOT destroyed--only all the things on it that had been made by humans and the humans who refused to know or listen to God. Same today. We will be right here but all the mess and disobedient ones will be gone forever.

This world is possibly a multi verse and not necessarily a universe. If that is the case, ......................

where will the next world be? TAKE YOUR PICK in the multiverse.

An interesting question........... it's late here but I like your thoughtful questions.

well, some famous people who have been lauded as being wise and enlightened (some even deitified as a god) have said that the Kingdom of (the) God(s) is all around you and within you. if this is true then you are the ever unfolding, ever perfecting New World.

Revelation 21
1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Heaven for the Christian will be a place of glorious life that will never end. Joy inexpressible, limitless peace, pure love, beauty beyond description—that's what heaven is. Greatest of all will be the presence of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, with whom we will enjoy fellowship forever. Loved ones who have known and loved the Lord will be there. Revelation 21:2 says, "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."
Heaven will be a place in which its inhabitants will be freed from the fears and insecurities that plague and haunt us in the present life. No energy crisis there ... Free from the economic and financial pressures that burden us down here. Free from the fear of personal and physical harm ... No fear of personal failure ... Our relationship with Him will be intimate and direct. I'm looking forward to that glorious day of going to heaven.

"Heaven will be what we have always longed for. It will be the new social order that men dream of. All the things that have made earth unlovely and tragic will be absent in heaven. There will be no night, no death, no disease, no sorrow, no tears, no ignorance, no disappointment, no war. It will be filled with happiness, worship, love, perfection and other good qualities. Heaven will be a place to challenge the creative genius of the unfettered mind of redeemed man." Revelation 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

However, the Bible makes clear that there is only one way to heaven, and that is through repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ who said, "I am the way ..." (John 14:6). Jesus paid for our sins through His death on the cross. God offers us the free gift of friendship with Him in this life and eternal life in heaven when we die if we will but turn from sin and trust in Jesus as our Savior and Lord. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved ..." (Acts 16:30).

HELL
Not one word in the Bible suggests that hell is a pleasant place, or a place where anyone would ever want to go. Jesus called hell a place of "outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 25:30, KJV). In one of His parables, Jesus told of a man who was in hell, begging for someone to come and "cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire" (Luke 16:24). The only companions anyone will have in hell will be "the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:41).

There is much we don't know about hell—but we know all we need to know. And the most important thing we know about hell is that we don't have to go there! Yes, we have sinned, and we deserve only God's judgment. But God loves us, and Christ came to deliver us from hell and welcome us into heaven forever.

Don't take hell lightly—but don't take Christ lightly, either. Instead, by a simple prayer of faith ask Him to forgive your sins and come into your life today. The Bible's promise is true: "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1).
