Call the company and ask them to send you a complete history on the account. Once you receive it, review it and see if there is something weird, like you were at zero, then a year or two later there were some weird charges on it. Then contact them and explain to them that you paid this account off. An account can be closed for years but still have an outstanding balance if you never paid it. I'm suprised they haven't turned you over to a collection agency LONG ago.

If there is money owing on the account then yes they can continue to send you bills for the account.

Contact the credit card company to see exactly what is going on. Most bills are done electronically. you mayneed to point the issue out to someone.

If you still owe a balance and you have been making payments, they can keep sending you bills until you pay it off or 7 years after you stop making payments, which came first. Please be aware that most credit card companies are now taking people to court which will never go away until you pay them off.

You can also dispute it to the credit bureaus to dispute the change if it's more than 7 years to get it off your account.

As long as you have an outstanding balance w/ them. The account can be closed and if you still have a balance, interest will accrue.

As long as you have a balance. If your balance is $0, then you aren't suppose to be receiving bills.

You need to call them that's not right, plus if you haven't been paying it it would have charged off if you weren't sending $. There is prob. a glitch in their system.

until u pay them or until you declare banckruptcy. that would allow you to have all your debts dismissed. dont worry, they'll call 4ever. after you die, they'll take everything out of your will that would pay for the debt. and if that didnt cover it, they target your kids, wife, parents. whoever they want. get it taken car eof!

UNTIL YOU PAY IT OFF...IF IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CLOSED YOU MAY WANT TO CALL AND CHECK THAT OUT....ONE STATEMENT EACH MONTH SINCE 1992...CLOSE TO 160 STATEMENTS AND YOU HAVEN'T CALLED YET.
