I'm a firm believer that there is never a reason for me to let someone, at their whim, be abusive to me. Especially if its through no fault of my own.
That right is not theirs!
The following quote is my phylosophy. "Don't do anything to someone that you wouldn't want done to yourself".
Even if you might make a mistake, it still doesn't give anyone the right to abuse you
I think you should have a serious, but calm, talk with him. Your task is to get him to understand that respect is a mutual thing. He must give you the same respect you give him.
Here you are...offering your love and compassion to him, and he feels that because of it, he can just insult you...what nerve. It is a form of immaturity, but you cannot allow it to happen to you. You are not his toy. Ask him would he like it If you did it to him? How hot he is, is insignificant here.
Set yourself apart from the average...demand respect...always. At the same time, let others earn your respect. don't just dish it out.
Start now, if you haven't already, why wait for tomorrow? What does it mean to you?
You are ultimately defined by your character and whats on the inside. The outside is like a bag, so to speak...to carry the inside goodies. If he dosen't accept then he can be the first to tell his buddies where your standards start. You must understand, the verbal abuse will not just stop. If it is allowed it will get worst. The ultimate way of showing ones love, is the amount of respect he gives.

Sweetie forget about the looks and the sex. Do you honestly want to be with someone that you can't respect as a person and they do the same for you and any other human being? See the looks and sex seem to always compensate for the lack of something else. You have received your red flag...move on.

cine good looks and good sex don't make up for being an asshole. its more of a long term thing. its like a plant that have a very pretty flowers but smells so freakin bad but you like the flowers tho!! eventually, the smell will attract unwelcoming insects and other creepy crawlers or maybe even be a disease inviting plant. my advice is, just bite your lips and move on. get a dildo to fill in the blanks. i know its hard but its like taking a medicine. it doesn't taste good but its good for you. good luck and may the force strong with you!

I think that if you are unhappy with his personality then you should let him go. There are plenty of other guys out there that are good looking and good in the bedroom, but are sweet and mature too. If all you really have in this relationship is physical, then move on sister.

Unless he values you as a REAL person (not just a quick fix) then what is the point of wasting your time? better to find you someone who truly values you as a total package and THEN see how great the sex can really be.

that's a tough one.
But I would say, just leave him, he may be a hunk and great toyou, but if he's a jerk to others, he shouldn't be dating.
I don't like jealous people.
If i had a girlfriend who was juts like him, I'd leave her because I get along with anyone.
Besides, there are plenty of fish in the ocean.
