Chocolate is "in" again - it is very good for you, so your urges are just a sign that you are listening to your body and its needs.
However, if you are overweight or have any worries about heart health or cholesterol, eat only the cacao rich black chocolate. There are so many good bars of chocolate out there right now, ranging from 75% to 90% cacao. Some have orange peel added for interest; others rum or raisins or nuts.
You can indulge with a clear conscience and the strange thing is, you will find one bite to be so powerful at first, that you will begin to treat this new chocolate with respect, and as a treat, yet still get your satisfaction.
Go on - get out there and indulge!

Chocolate has an aphrodysiacal property, so maybe its some thing else you crave?
FOR a long time women have compared chocolate to sex. Now doctors have discovered a scientific link between the two.

According to Italian researchers, women who eat chocolate regularly have a better sex life than those who deny themselves the treat. Those consuming the sugary snack had the highest levels of desire, arousal and satisfaction from sex.

The only thing i find that helps a bit is to eat posh chocolate - then you get satisfied by a wee bit rather than a mega bar of dairy milk!! I find if i eat dark chocolate i'll eat less.... and enjoy it too!!

Chocolate as any sweet is not bad for you if eaten in moderation. I crave chocolate and found that if I do not eat it once in awhile then when the cravings get bad, I over indulge.

Swap it for something else sweet like a satsuma or something that you like. Dark chocolate with a high cocoa mass is good for you in small quantities, so you could try that. Just avoid the really sugary stuff.

I've found that the best thing to do if you have a craving is to just have a little of what you crave and make it last for a while. If you deny yourself what you want, your craving will just get worse and you'll end up eating twice as much as you would have done originally.

if you break the chocolate down into all its separate ingredients then pick one say sugar then mentally relate that ingredient to that product so instead of eating chocolate you imagine its a two
pound bag of sugar and to imagine your pouring it down your throat it should stop you or make you want to throw up
