Why does guys want skinny girls and never the thick and beautiful ones ?

i am not very fond of a man that assumes that he can get what ever he want in just a skinny gurl and never a thick one! tell me what you think about this gentalmen?

I myself am no thin little girl, and I take notice to what men are dating. Many men here are saying that they like curvy women…yet I rarely see a thick woman on a mans arm….I see a stick with little to no curves what so ever.

Men here are trying to say that it has to do with some biological thing…that a thicker woman looks pregnant thus making them turned off. I have never heard so much bull s h i t in my life! It has nothing to do with that…it is simply the fact that society tells us that the thinner you are, the more hip and prettier you are. Females and males are falling victim to this brainwash. Women by the thousands are starving themselves for that ‘oh-so-perfect’ look.

Now of course there are men that enjoy larger women. But that is one out of a thousand. Usually, especially when you are young, you can’t find a man that likes larger woman to save your life. Once again it comes back down to the way society looks at larger women, and how they look at smaller women.

Larger women are looked upon as lazy, smelly and crumpled looking. SOCIETY (the media, fashion, news…everything) makes thicker women seem like lazy slugs that don’t take care of themselves. I myself take care of my looks. I take pains to make sure I look my best at all times.

Now Society looks upon thinner women as healthy, athletic, hip to fashion. Many of these things are true….except healthy. True, some thin women are born like that…they can’t help it! I UNDERSTAND THAT! But you can tell the difference between a thin person meant to be thin, and a person starving themselves. Last time I heard, starving yourself isn’t healthy…

So men…if you read this, ask yourself…and be honest. If a larger woman and a thinner woman stood side by side and you had to choose one to date….who would you choose?

And women who read this…DON’T STARVE YOURSELF! It’s beautiful to be larger! Don’t let people get you down! The only way to make society change is view points on larger women is to not fall victim to the hip trend of being a stick.

And to funmzire’s comment, (the one below mine,) I never said that thin women are nasty. I think they have their own type of beauty. I am just saying….and she proved my point VERY well, that larger women are pushed around, and called gross because we are larger and that we are just jealous. Why would want to be thin? I would hate it! My fiancée would hate it! I am happy being my large self!

Oh…and the comment about the thin girls running the runway….Sorry….no! I was asked to be a model. I turned it down. Why? I don’t know, I guess I just don’t want to be one! I would hate to get shallow like some mean ladies on here.

....beautiful full figured girls are more independent, they are more deep, but they tend to be more shy, more quiet, less confident. Skinny sells...on t.v, in magazines. Guys aren't the smartest creatures on this earth. If a guy likes a girl only because she is skinny, then they belong together. You will find someone who adores your body for what it is....no one can fill out a halter top like a woman with big curves, a fat girls *** is a million times hotter in a pair of tight jeans than some skinny chick where they are barley hanging on. I work at one of the hottest plus size store's out...and its not lame bryant...lol. I talk to girls all day who have low self esteem and a bad self image, some even cry because they think they cannot look beautiful. Society is really ******* up....i make these girls look beautiful, but i tell them they are beautiful, i try to do everything i can to heighten there self image just a little bit. Its really sad we can't get past the exterior and look to the interior yet.

I really think it depends on the girl...there is 'fat thick' and 'thick'...if you are thick and have a big but and boobies...good. But if you are 'fat thick' and have the rolls and are overweight, then there is a difference. I have always been thick, and never had a problem with the boys. And a lot of thick girls just aren't fun and always worried about how they look, and guys don't want a girl that always talks about how she thinks she is fat and blah blah.

I think curves are a good thing...but health is important. Be healthy, strong, and a worthwhile guy will come your way. I know plenty of guys that like girls skinny AND curvy...sometimes it's just a preference though. One guy likes brunettes, one likes blondes, one likes redheads. Don't let it be a reflection on you. Would you change your hair color because some jerk said he didn't like you because of your hair color? Find someone who will respect and love you as you are, not as what SOCIETY thinks you should be. SOCIETY is also obsessed with Paris Hilton, the most annoying person on the planet...next to Jessica Simpson.

Not all guys want skinny girls, but young men are often overly concerned with the opinions of their peers. It's important to them to conform and be like the other 'boys'.

When those boys who've denied an appreciation for a curvier woman become adults, they (sometimes) become secure enough in their manhood to freely express their preferences.

There are many men who have definite preferences for chubby, fat or even morbidly obese women. Just as there are women who have a preference for a big man... to each his or her own.

Well I actually prefer a woman with a little meat on their bones. BUT, it depends on what you are talking about when you say "thick." Some fat women try to say they are thick. BUT they are really just a fat tub of lard. Thick to me means muscular, voluptous, curvy, and in good shape. Not overweight. Thick and fat are two different things. And sometimes I think fat women don't understand that. They call themselves thick when they are really fat. With that being said, I will take a thick woman over a bone skinny one anyday.

I think it is shallow! Curvy girls are just as beautiful as skinny ones. It is all a matter of what the media portrays as "in". Back in the old days...curvy was in because it meant they were well fed and therefore rich. Blah Blah Blah...everyone is beautiful in their own way. I like guys of all body types and that is the truth. What's inside is WAY more important.

Most of us are brainwashed by commercials everywhere to believe that "skinny" is cool. Well, skinny has now been removed from the fashion designer's runways coz it sometimes causes you ladies to become anexoric to be thin. This condition is dangerous.

Not all men like thin women. But if one man does not like you because of something physical, then he isn't worth your time.
The man you want is someone who loves you for your character and kindess.

Usually a guy likes a curvy girl.CURVY in the right places. Not fat or skinny. But just cuz this guy has different taste, doesnt mean you should hate him andstuff. BEauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone has different opinions.

Who are you to judge anyone for their personal preference in choosing a bf or gf. Seems like your just hating on girls who are not overweight. That is what you mean by thick isn't it?
