i'm trying to lose to 50 pounds in 90 days.
but i munch on junk food all day.
which i've currently stopped as of 10/11/06
but it's hard .
so i was thinking of other things i could eat instead of chips and cookies.
but every thing i like to eat is either junk food,or the frozen stuff like fish sticks, and hot pockets.

You arent supposed to lose more than 2lbs. a week, after the first month. Its not healthy for you. I imagine you could do it, but it wouldnt be healthy. Things you could eat instead are celery and broccoli. Both are crunchy and will satisfy the psychological aspect of eating a chip. Tomatoes are also really good for you and have little fat in them. The celery will also help speed up your metabolism to help with breaking the food down faster. Good luck and try to stay healthy on your quest.

No, you can safely lose only about 2 lbs a week, which would mean that 50 lbs would take about 25 weeks.
Glad you stopped eating the junk food, now you need to eat healthy well balanced meals which include veggies and whole grains.
Cut out soda, even the diet kind. Start exercising, and you will lose the weight.
Hot pockets can be okay in a diet, but only as part of a well balance meal with some sort of exercise.

I don't know if it's possible to lose 50 lbs in 90 days but I can offer some helpful tips. During the day I always have a water bottle of sugar free kool-aid or crystal light with me. When you get hungry drink some of that and that might lesson some of those cravings. As far as snacking, cut down the proportions, I love those 100 calorie packs, because you can still snack on cookies and chips but it's only a hundred calories per pack. Don't be afraid to have a cheat day every once in while, don't over do it. Another thing would be to start a running program, I just started one myself and it wasn't too bad, I'm actually starting to enjoy. Don't get discouraged and take it one day at a time. Here is the website for the running program if you're interested:

SURE IF YOU WANNA DIE TOO. Don't be silly and don't be stupid. What you need is a KICK IN THE KNICKERS, so here it is:

Change your lifestyle and do this forever. Drink lots of water, walk an hour every day except 1 then do stretching and upper body toning. Eat fruits & vegetables.

No sugar
No sodas
No candy
No chips
No potatoes
No pasta
No pizza
no corn
no bread
no burgers
no fried foods

Good Luck

I am sure it is possible. Try to munch on carrots or selleri sticks instead. Eat healthy food and exercise regularly that should do it + it would stay off! Ps Don't drink alcohol!

You have to exercise as well as diet. It's possible that way. That's the only way you're going to do it. You have to be in excess of 200 pounds though. You can't go from 150 to 100 though, without being sick.

losing this much weight in this short of time is not healthy. try calling your local nutritionist or dietitian. i am on weight watchers and i still get to snack and eat pretty much what i want and in 5 weeks i have lost almost 15 pounds.

I don't think that's a very realistic goal. Losing that much weight that quickly will cetainly not be a long term achievement.
