Not in the slightest. Just travel around Europe - Spain, France, Greece, etc.; most people are slim and live quite healthy lifestyles. If you go into a continental supermarket you'll see a big difference too; junk food and ready-made meals are harder to find while there's an abundance of fresh food. The only people of whale-like proportions that you'll see in continental Europe are American and British tourists.

Um, no! It's quite obvious that we have the worst diets in Europe. People just go to Tesco and buy food full of fat, or microwave dinners, or even worse they go to McDonalds or have a take-out every night. In Europe people eat properly, they actually COOK their meals rather than microwave them, and their meals consist of good and proper food. Don't you notice that when you visit the countries!
