I bought a cookworks juice extractor and I was disappointed with it because the pulp left was still very juicy which I think is such a waste. Now, Im trying to decide between Philips or Breville.

If you are looking for real good juicer, you have to buy twin gear juicers. Phillis and Breville are both centrifugal type juicers.
They both used very high RPM to juice, and that make these machine very noisy. It also promote oxidation, and heat damage to your juice.
Twin gear juicers get more juice and it produce dry pulp. You don't have to worry about all that negative above. Try "Green star 2000 ", "Twin health marathon", and "Kempo green"
I have Twin health and I am very happy with it.

Actually the Vita-Mix http://www.vitamix.com/ is a better choice because it leaves the pulp in. Removing the pulp removes much of the nutrition and certainly removes all of the fiber. Most need more fiber in their diet and not less. Leave the pulp in when you juice!
