Why can't the JudeoChristian God accept homosexuality, bisexuality, polygamy, polyandry, and and polyamory? Love is evident in many forms in the Bible/Torah, so why does it matter who one is with as long as its love in the purest form?

That's one of the best questions I've seen in this forum. The answer is, God didn't write the Bible. Men did. Men who were ignorant of their world and scared of what they didn't understand. Unfortunately, the god they invented didn't really understand either. I agree with you completely!

I think you almost need a sociologist to answer this one more than a theologian.
I can only speak on what I know of Catholic teaching and tradition, but at the bottom of it all is an accepted "natural social order." The Catholic church believes that life thrives within family, that family is held together by marriage, and that marriage is a sacrament that occurs between a man and a woman. It also believes that sexual intercourse is reserved for those who are married.
Now this doesn't mean that the church doesn't love and support those who through no fault of their own are not within the traditional bounds of a "nuclear family." (Meaning orphans, widows, families where one member completely abandons the others, etc.) The church doesn't even restrict "love" to the romantic and sexual sense. But it does believe that society thrives in a certain way and has incorporated that into its religious tenants.

Personally, I think the word love is overrated and overused. Most people are too self-centered to feel any kind of pure love toward another person. Love is used as weapon and an excuse.
As far as homosexuality, etc., there's nothing more or less wrong with it than monogamy. I think in the end the only way for humanity to get along is to consider ourselves all married to each other and have guilt-free sex as much as possible. If we make love when we meet maybe we wouldn't be so eager to kill each other.

Because it's not natural or the way God designed it. Do you see any homosexuality in the animal kingdom? If God designed man to be with women as stated in Genisis then for man to be with man or women to be with women would be against His will. I don't know about you but acting against God's will in my book is sin.

Good question..That's why I'm Wiccan...I have a bisexual child and I love her no matter what or whom she loves...A persons sexuality has nothing to do with that person being good or bad and love is love plain and simple.....Jesus walked with only men according to the Bible...even though many people believe he was married to Mary Magdalan or however you spell it...The Bible contadicts itself in many different ways...
