I would agree with a lot of what existentialist_guru said, but would add to be careful of foods with foods that have high glycemic index values. In other words, eat complex carbohydrates such as whole grains, sweet potatoes, etc. and avoid white foods such white bread, white rice, etc. Also eat a ton of vegetables.

By the way, if you don't have a crock pot it is a great way to cook vegetables and meats (beef, chicken or pork) in larger portions that you can have several small meals from throughout the day.

Good Luck!!!

Eat wisely.

1) Eat 6-7 small-medium meals a day.

2) Consume about 0.75 to 1 gm of protein per Ib of body weight.

3) Eat a diet of Protein: Carb: Fat in 40:40:20 ratio

4) Eat a Carb: Protein meal in the ratio 60:40 immediately after working out

5) Do not do cardio more than 30 minutes in one session

There are exercises to help with that. And try eating a bit more protien. But don't add fats or sugar: Those will most likely become more fat.
