use a marguerita glass. Put a full jigger (1-1/2 oz) of Tequila Gold and 1/2 oz of a liquour called "Triple-Sec". Add the juice of 1/2 lime. Add 3 oz of Marguerita mix (non alcoholic) such as is found in liquour stores. Serve mixed cold over small ice cubes or frozen with a freeze machine. The glass should have a salted rim so buy some marguerita salt and wet the glass rim first and tip it upside down into the salt so that the salt clings to the glass before adding the drink. Make sure that a toothpick is inserted into the marguerita and put a marichino cherry and an orange quarter on the toothpick. Enjoy.

Strawberry Margarita's are the best!

Strawberry Schnapps 1/2 oz.
Tequila 1.5 oz.
Triple Sec 1/2 oz.
Lime or Lemon Juice 1 oz.
Strawberries 1 oz.

Mix together all the ingredients and serve over ice in a Rocks glass. To salt the rim of the glass, rub a lime or lemon wedge over the rim and dip it in Margarita salt. For a frozen Margarita, blend all of the ingredients in a blender with ice cubes.

Patron is the best brand of tequilla to use but very expensive. Sauza is also good and less expensive. If you like a bitter taste you can add a 1/2 oz of Cointreau which is made of the zest of various citrus fruits. Obviously, if you want a regular unflavored Margarita instead of strawberry, simply omit the
Strawberry Schnapps and the strawberries. You might also consider using a classic margarita mix in place of them.

Good luck and enjoy!

Are you trying to get her smashed? Make a Cadillac margarita, use all the same as for a regular margarita, but you add triple sec,and Grand Mariner. They are really tasty and they'll knock you on your @$$.But before they do,you'll be the life of the party! Bottoms up,and drink responsibly. God bless

P.S.Always use gold, but the best is Jose Cuervo 1800, very smooth.

Mix lime juice, powdered sugar, and water. Can't remember the measurements but when it tastes like a really rich limeade it is done. Use a really good gold tequila (Sauza makes excellent tequilas, don't be cheap!) and cointreau. 2oz. of tequila to 1/2 oz of cointreau. I don't like margaritas and I used to drink these all the time.

Ingredients:
3 oz Tequila
2 oz Lemon or lime juice
1 oz Triple Sec
1/2 a domestic cheap beer (e.g. Pabst, Keystone)

Serves: 2

Preparation:
Rub rim of cocktail glass with rind of lemon or lime, dip rim in salt. Shake (Rocks) or Blend (Slush) ingredients with ice and strain into the salt-rimmed glass. The beer is one of my favorite additions...it adds a little extra deliciousness.

I'd take a great alcoholic margarita for my wife, too! Oh, sorry, you said "make," not "take." My bad.
