This has happened to me. I now feel friendly toward the 'What Should I Do Retard'. Maybe he just reminded me of my Uncle at first so it was a knee jerk reaction on my part. But he's smarter than my Uncle. A lot smarter.

Has this ever happened to you?

Yes, the What should I do Retard has won my heart also? Sometimes I think he is the only one who knows ANYTHING here! He makes me laugh! What should I do?

I think we have an innate capacity to look for the good in people so even though we might take an initial dislike to someone, through time you usually come to appreciate that (almost) everybody has positive, likeable traits, that we find attractive.

I'm sure I have, although I can't think of any examples out here or in "real" life.

I tend to be irascible, so I typically find MOST people annoying at first!

I love WSIDR. He's too funny by half.

To your question: Yes, he's been my husband for 29 years now. We started dating 31 years ago, once I decided he wasn't a twerp we got a long fine. (You ought to hear what his thoughts on me were!!! Yikes.) ; )
