Super fast and no yeast

1 1/2 cups flour
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Combine all ingredients.
Fill greased muffin tins half full.
Bake at 375°F for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.

I like to jazz mine up with an herb glaze

1/2 cup melted margarine or butter
2 teaspoons rosemary
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Combine all ingredients in order given.
Brush on bread or dinner rolls while they are baking.

Substitue with baking powder

and I think if you fluff some egg whites
when you fold in, they will pop up
(like popovers) and taste buttery

No yeast would make them biscuits.

you can buy flour that already has yeast in it so you dont have to wait for it to rise
