Because people don't want to spend the time to work things out by talking or finding a solution to the problem in the marriage.Sometimes people get married too and they think things are going to be a certain way and they arent so they just want to give up.Its too easy to get a divorce.

Peoples values aren't the same as they used to be . Society always wants more and better. Life is so fast paced that relationships get lost in the shuffle. It's unfortunate, because these days marriage vows are taken lightly to some. People are living together, which is a sin. Makes you wonder if couples will get married at all in the future. Sadly, that's not what was intended.

True. People are not following what Jesus said about marriage and separation. The problem is far more serious. The fact of the matter is that people are following almost nothing of what Jesus said. Probably time is ripe for him for a come back mission and shake up all those who are transgressing.

Society has taught us that the needs and fulfillment of self are most important. We always think that things would be better if I could be with someone else, could have a better job, could have more money. These are all things that aren't going to matter when we stand in front of the white throne of judgment and have to give an accounting for our life. What does matter is being obedient to the word of God.

Because people now a days, even back in Biblical times, disobey God. Of course, if you wer ein an abusive relaitonship, I know God wouldn't be mad if the couple was separated. But now a days, people get married like they change clothes.

People realize that a life of suffering with the wrong person is not worth it. If you accept Jesus in your heart as savior and repent all earthly sins you may still walk in the kingdom of heaven.

Because people get married for the wrong reasons and expect different things from the marriage than will actually happen, then they can't deal with it.

Selfishness, pride, selflessness, ignorance, lack of compassion, inner turmoil but mostly ..... I believe it is because God has put enmity between us. And when God does something ~He does it right. So it stands that it is one of the biggest accomplishments in faith, can you give up your ways for His ways? And just be compassionate to the other, for God? I try, God knows I try.

Because people pretend to follow Jesus' teachings. But when it gets in their way, they conveniently forget about it.
