Honestly I believe patience is a virtue. Because at one point I was in the same situation you are. I have had my fair share of cheaters and liars and have been hurt. Didnt think that there was anyone out there for me because all the good guys were either taken up or that they didnt exist anymore, but now I met my husband is means the world to me. Patience doesnt mean sitting around and waiting for love to come to you sweetie. You can still be social and meet people and go out and have fun. That's the only way you will be able to meet people. Patience when you finally do get with someone in a relationship is a virtue. You have to be patient with getting to know that person and finding out if that is what you really want in life but dont worry there's someone out there for everyone and when the timing is right, I'm sure that you will meet that right person.

hi jess,i believe in patience as an important virtue.i agree it is hard to be patient but it is better to be patient than be hasty in whatever u do.patience gives u a chance to do what is right after proper understanding of the situation.one often regrets decisions taken in a jiffy and then it is too late to correct them.
as far as being patient when relationships are concerned,ur mother and grandma are right.u cant just get into a relationship with any guy."cant hurry love".things like love, affection, compassion, friendship take time to develop.
so be patient and live ur life spreading happiness.one day u will be in a successful relationship then ur patience will be rewarded.good luck!!!!

Yes, patience is a virtue, but he who hesitates is lost. It's a balancing act. Don't rush things, be true to you. When you find what you are looking for, Go for it.
