Hey Hazeleyes:
Depression. You're asking a lot when you ask about depression. You probably know there are different types of depression. There's clinical and chemical. The clinical is usually treatable by counseling and sometimes medication. The chemical is treated by medication. Some people have both. It would be wise, if you really want to help, to get a professional assessment for your loved one and find out which type of depression your loved one is dealing with. If the person you care about with depression is unwilling to get a professional assessment, then the last alternative you may have is to be available for him/her when he/she needs a warm body nearby. I wish you the best in your circumstance,

zeke

No, but I have depression, and I have dated guys. Usually they don't even know I have a disorder unless I tell them. I don't know how to help you... but if you give a specific question about what you mean by "dealing with" then I could.
