Yes it is a false religion, compare it to the teachings of the bible and you will know your answer. Muslims do not believe Christ is the savior, that is what makes them a false religion.
What if one used the name of Jesus or believes he was a good man, a great teacher, had the spirit of God come upon Him...yet denies that Jesus Christ is God Himself. Many say they believe in Jesus yet deny that he is God. Jesus said he was God! To deny that Jesus is God is to deny what Jesus said.
"I and my Father are one" (John 10:22). Literally it says, "I and the Father, one are we" In verse 27 Jesus said his sheep hear his voice and they will not follow another.
The spirit of the Antichrist is one that denies that Jesus and God are one.

Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are really all the same, its just that Islam is the polished version (the right religion), which takes out all the idol worshiping the pagans did, before the prophet Muhammed came and revealed the words of God.

You must understand that the ancient way of way of the Arabs was to combine spiritualism within their everyday life. Before Islam, worshiping idols was part and parcel of everyday living.
So Mohammad had a vision...he made Idol worship a thing of the past and Introduced Allah...an idol who took the name of of the new Spiritual God....However nothing much have changed...Muslims still practice Arabic traditions; they still kill each other as they did before Mohammad and still kill others who don't accept their beliefs...as they did before Islam.
Islam is more an ancient traditional behavior than a religion. A popular writer called it an international Arabic cult.
